Regular Activities

In addition to our church services, St Marys’ has many activities an

d groups. To enquire about joining these groups please contact the Church Office by phone or email unless there is a specific contact given - the Church Office details are in the footer below.

Pitter Patter

A group for babies and toddlers held at St Mary's Centre on Tuesdays from 9.30 -11am. A safe place for little ones to play, with story time, singing and snacks. No need to book, just drop in.

Children's Church

We meet at St Mary’s Centre at 10.20am (so parents have time to walk across to church and grab a cup of tea or coffee before the 10.30a, service starts).  Children who are joining for the first time (aged 3-11) are very welcome to bring a parent along while they settle in but there is no hard or fast rule.  We recognise that very child is different and we want them to feel comfortable and enjoy Children's Church.

 We are very fortunate that we have some wonderful teenage helpers as well as our 4 adult leaders, .  The leaders are all first-aid and safeguarding trained.

This is important from a health and safety point of view.  Obviously if anyone has any questions regarding the form then please do email me: Philippa Blowfield 

During our CC sessions, there will be games, stories, craft activities and lots of fun.  Occasionally we may offer some food so it is important that we know about allergies, etc.

At the end of each session, we will walk the children back from St Mary’s Centre to church to join you, hopefully timed to arrive towards the end of the service during Communion.

Ignite

A group for 12+ years 

Meets at St Mary's Centre on Saturdays from 6 - 7.30pm

Dates for Autumn term: September 5th, September 19th, October 3rd, October 17th.

Dangerous Club 

For key stage 2; 7-11years

Meets in the Baptist Schoolroom on Sundays from 4 - 5.30pm

Dates for Autumn term: September 13th, September 27th, October 11th, November 1st, November 15th, November 29th, December 13th.

Homegroups 

Groups meet fortnightly in evenings or daytimes. These are small groups for fellowship, to study the Bible, to pray together and to support each other.
