Supporting St Mary's

Giving by individuals is essential to secure St Mary's ability to serve its community and for the Church of England to minister across the country. How much we give as individuals is a matter for personal and prayerful reflection.

"Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand" 1 Chronicles 24:19

Many of our regular givers use the Diocesan Parish Giving Scheme. This provides central, efficient administration of all giving, at no cost to us. It offers an opportunity to link our giving to inflation.

During the recent difficult times when our church building has not always been open, we are still a church; meeting virtually for prayer services and fellowship, loving our neighbours by offering practical support to the vulnerable, and caring for our communities.

Following the temporary closure of our buildings, the loss of lettings income from St Mary’s Centre, plus some people not being able to give due to the financial impact of the pandemic on them, our income has decreased and we really need your help now. where you can contribute by debit or credit card. 

As part of the simple procedure you will be asked if you can Gift Aid your donation; if you are able to do so please do give your details even if you know we already have your declaration – the duplication will not matter but it will enable us to route your donation appropriately.  Thank you.
